Obituary of Richard Paul Worron
COPLEY- Richard Paul Worron, 76, died April 1, 2011.
Born in Akron, Richard was a lifetime area resident, served in the US Army Reserve and retired as a teacher from Litchfield Jr. High in 1994 after 38 years. In addition to teaching, Richard spent over 28 years with Equifax. While he enjoyed fishing trips with friends, his greatest joy was the time he spent with students and the many friendships he built while leading trips during his 31 years with WorldStrides Educational Student Travel.
Preceded in death by his parents Richard G. and Helen Worron, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Phyllis; children Jeff (Torey) Worron of Lakewood; Wendy (Tom) Nicholson of TX; Scott (Cindy) Worron of Brimfield; Keely (Michael) Peck of Columbus; Rob Yanulavich of Columbus and 8 grandchildren.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 5 to 8 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct services Tuesday 12 noon.Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
