Robert (Bob) Green

TALLMADGE - Robert “Bob” Green, 86, passed away July 26, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Akron, OH, October 18, 1937, Bob graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1956. He married the love of his life, Nancy Dale Leonhardt-Green, at the First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and they shared 46 wonderful years together.

Bob enjoyed a distinguished 46-year career at Parker Hannifin as the manager of customer service. After retiring, he volunteered at Akron Children’s Hospital and served as Director of the Staging Committee of The Holiday Tree Festival for over 20 years. Bob was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church for over 50 years, and a member of several men’s clubs and the Men’s Golf League at the church.

He had many interests including golf, watching his favorite sports teams on TV, and was an avid OSU fan. Bob’s true passion was loving and caring for his family.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Nancy Green; children, Ed (Molly), Mark (Edith Neta), Eric (Tracy), Alec, and Carolyn (Donna); grandchildren, Andrew (Brittany), Alexa (Conner) Molnar, Lucas, Christina (Drew) Ashby-King, Megan (Brad) Daugharthy, Stephany (Megan) Yoe, Chelsea, and Rachel (Vincent) Rios; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ana, Penelope, James, Maddy, and Mikey, as well as his brothers, Richard and Larry (Karen). He was preceded in death by his parents, Chet and Polly; sister, Patsy (Bob) Boyd, and sister-in-law, Karen.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, August 2, 2024, at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Visitation, 1 PM to 2 PM, Friday, at the church.
