Robert (Bob) J. Mayer

PENINSULA - Robert J. Mayer, age 76, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022. Son of the late Julian and Hilda Mayer, beloved husband of the late Janet L. (nee Conger); dearest father of Todd (Patti) and Stacey (Brian) Hakes; loving grandfather of Joseph and Andrew Mayer and Kyle and Kevin Hakes. Bob grew up in and spent most of his adult life living in Peninsula, OH. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Family and friends are invited to the graveside service which will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 10 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 1991 Bronson Avenue, Peninsula, OH 44264.
