Robert H. Nichols

KENT - Robert H. Nichols, 83, died October 11, 2021.

Born in Akron, he was a resident of Kent since 2008, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Robert had been employed with Kent State University, Goodyear Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, and Alltel as a computer programmer, retiring in 2001. He was a photographer, car enthusiast, and enjoyed hiking and traveling.

Preceded in death by parents, Robert C. and Gladys Nichols, and sister, Marjorie Baxter. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Muriel Nichols; daughter, Cynthia Marie (Greg) Porinchak; son, Shawn (Heather L.) Nichols; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, John (Candice) Nichols.

Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
