Robert James Skinner, Sr.

STOW - Robert J. Skinner, Sr., 62, died March 18, 2021. Born in Akron, he was a resident of Stow since 1983. Robert had been employed with Advance Solutions in the retail division. He was a member of the Stow Police Reserve and an avid fan of the Indians, Cavs, Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Robert enjoyed coaching soccer and baseball, golfing, and watching his kids play sports. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Patricia Skinner, he is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha; daughter, Katie (Nick Marttila) Skinner; sons, Robbie, Cody (Lyndsay Whitmore) Skinner; grandson, Evans; brothers, Rick and Chris Skinner. He will be missed by many friends. Pastor Dan Page will conduct service 7 PM Monday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, where friends may call from 4 PM until service time.
