Robin Renee Vanmeter

MUNROE FALLS - Robin Renee VanMeter, 63, passed away August 1, 2023.

Robin was born in Akron, grew up in Stow, and has resided in Munroe Falls. Robin drove a school bus for the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District for many years just like her mother did. It was a family legacy she kept going. She enjoyed cooking family dinners for her children and her beloved grandchildren. She loved being a part of the birthday girls’ club with her friends and family of many years.

She had such a loving and generous heart. She adored her grandchildren above all, and her children meant just as much to her.

She is together again with her dearly missed father, Richard, and her brother, Ronnie.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Augustus; husband of 45 years, Britton, Jr.; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Amy Stang (Larry); son, Britt VanMeter (Jesse James); grandchildren, Chase and Ali; sister, Rhonda Gibbons (Wayne); brothers, Rick (Mary), Ray, and Randy; bonus grandchildren, Sapphire and December; her dog, Bucky, and her granddog, Spuds, as well as her many dearly loved family members and friends.

Our family would like to express our utmost gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the University Hospitals Portage Medical Center for all they have done.

Join us for a celebration of her life, which will be held on August 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Silver Springs Park in the Heritage Barn, 5238 Young Road in Stow.
