Rodney (Rod) C. Dipaulo

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Rodney C. DiPaulo, 76, the awesome husband, father, Poppy, and friend, went home to the Lord July 8, 2023, surrounded by his family. Rod was born in Canton, Ohio.

His greatest joy in life was his family, especially the grandchildren.

Rod was an athlete all his life. He loved any game "with a ball." Rod was a hard worker and gave 100% to every job he had. He always treated people with respect, honesty, and kindness.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ann DiPaulo; stepson, Aaron Carter, and brother, Dennis DiPaulo. He is survived by his loving wife, Gina; daughters, Michelle DiPaulo (Sean McGuinness) and Melissa Long (Nicky); stepsons, Anthony Carter and Andrew Carter (Maude); stepdaughters, Jennifer Mansfield (Matt) and Rebecca Reger (Joshua), grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Jordan, Molly, Zoey, Jack, Carter, Noah, and Elise; brothers, Ernie DiPaulo (Karen), Gary DiPaulo, and sister, Linda Alspaugh (Mike).

Our hearts are truly broken from losing the kindest man with the biggest heart and the best smile!

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 1 to 4 PM, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 158 North Avenue, Tallmadge 44278.

Words of remembrance and scripture service will be led by Rev. Marvin Thomas at 1:30 PM.
