Louie Knight

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Louie Knight, 62, passed peacefully with family by his side, on January 11, 2025.

Born in Korea, he was a 1981 graduate of Stow High School and had been employed as a superintendent with Embree Construction in Georgetown, TX.

Louie found much satisfaction from working hard and providing for his family!  Along with work, antiquing, traveling and Asian art were also interests of Louie’s.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Hicken; mother, Sonya Haire; brother, Eugene Knight, and grandson, Jeriah Colegrove, he is survived by his wife, Tracey L. Knight; daughter, Stacy Barna, and her children, Taylor, Jordan, Alissa and Isabella; son, Isaac (Trisha) Knight, and their children, Kaden and Zachary; daughter, Sarah (Thomas) Fritz; daughter, Jessica Knight; son-in-law, Joshua Colegrove; grandson, Joshua Colegrove, Jr.; daughter, Gabrielle Knight, and brother, Jimmy (Stephanie) Knight.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 6 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call from 4:30 PM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Barker Adoption Foundation, ( barkeradoptionfoundation.org ) an adoption agency that partners with Korea Welfare Services (KWS) to help children in South Korea find adoptive families.
