STOW - Rose Marie Hall of Stow, Ohio, passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 85.
After losing her husband of 62 years in May 2022, Rose died peacefully with her children and grandchildren by her side.
Rose was born in South Connellsville, Pennsylvania, on November 19, 1936, to parents, Edward and Helen Trump. She and her husband were ministers with the Salvation Army until 1970, when she chose to be a stay-at-home mother until her children entered school and later began working for the Salvation Army as a bookkeeper. Her husband, daughters, and grandchildren were amazed by Rose’s strength as she overcame the impact of a major stroke in her fifties, third stage breast cancer in her seventies, and being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. She did not allow her medical problems to stop her from putting her family first and being a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother.
In the last months of her life, Rose lived in assisted living at The Landing in Stow. Her family appreciates the care and love the staff provided her while she experienced the grief of losing her husband and as her health declined. We also appreciate the work Crossroads Hospice did with her during her last days.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Dorothy Ritenour. Her beloved husband, Raymond F. Hall, passed away in May 2022. She is survived by her brother, Edward Trump, Jr.; children, Cheryl Krusinski and Deborah Walsh; son-in-law, C. Michael Walsh; grandchildren, Jonathan Krusinski, Rain Krusinski, Katie Hollinger (David), Michael Walsh, and Brian Walsh; and great-granddaughter, Juliet Krusinski.
A visitation for Rose is planned for Thursday, July 28 from 5 to 7 PM. The visitation will be at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. All are invited to attend. The funeral will follow immediately at 7 PM.
