Roy W. Rogers

MUNROE FALLS - Roy W. Rogers, 95, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023.

Born in Rosamond, IL, he relocated his family to Munroe Falls in 1955, until he and his late wife, Marie, moved to Mulberry Gardens in 2019. Roy was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during WWII aboard the USS Honolulu. He was a long-distance truck driver employed with Spector and ACE trucking until retiring in 1993. He enjoyed traveling, shooting pool, classic cars, leatherworking, gardening, Yoga, Taekwondo, and Karate.

Preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Marie Rogers, and six siblings, he is survived by his daughter, Trudy (Barry) Morris; sons, Jim, Bill (Pat), Gary (Kathleen), and Mike Rogers; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1:00 PM, followed by a luncheon at Acker-Moore Memorial Post, 3733 Fishcreek Road, Stow, OH 44224.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Acker-Moore Memorial Post in Stow.
