Russell M. Griesmer

STOW - Russell M. Griesmer, 92, died May 29, 2023.

Born in Cleveland, he was a resident of Stow since 1973, and a U.S. Army veteran. Russell had been employed with Rite Aid as a pharmacist, retiring in 2010. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Russell enjoyed watching all sports.

Preceded in death by wife, Colleen Griesmer; son, David Griesmer; brothers, Edwin and Howard Griesmer. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Donna) and Daniel (Louise) Griesmer; daughter, Lisa (Christopher) Schroeder; grandchildren, Joseph, Dana, Collin, Morgan, and Jacob.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held 10 AM, Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224, Father Andrew Gonzalez celebrant. Friends may call from 9:30 AM to service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow.
