Russell Whitaker

MUNROE FALLS - Russell O. Whitaker, 88, died September 9, 2021. A lifetime area resident, Russell retired from ECMCA, enjoyed vintage cars, was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, and a collector of antique toys. Preceded in death by his wife, Judith, and sister, Pat Dewey, he is survived by son, Alan (Patty) Whitaker of Stow; daughters, Lori (David) Karle of Cuyahoga Falls, and Diane (Tom) Adamson of Stow; grandchildren, Todd, Amanda, Ryan, Shaun, Emily, Danielle (Steve) Garretson, Kelli (Ryan) Yurkschatt, Alana and Noah; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Colton. Mr. Whitaker's family would like to thank both Danbury Woods and Kindred Hospice for their care and compassion. Private services and entombment will be held at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
