Ruth Mae Caler

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Ruth Mae Caler passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 89.

She was born in Akron, OH on January 20, 1933, the daughter of Marvin and Maye Caler, both deceased.

Ruth retired from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company in Akron with over 30 years of service.

Ruth loved reading and working at The Haven of Rest. She was an amazing piano and organ player, had a terrific singing voice, and also directed the choir at her church.

Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Caler. They were married over 45 wonderful years. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James E. (Eileen) Kerns, sister, Mildred L. (Glenn A.) Clark, and son, Lance Morrison. She is survived by her step-daughter, Dana (Thomas) Rohlf; grandson, Scott (Kristen) Rohlf, many nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends and neighbors. A special person whom she loved dearly was Pastor Jim Case and his wife, Jeannine Case.

There will be no calling hours or funeral. A private graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
