STOW - Sandra L. Bent, 78, died February 15, 2023.
Born and raised in Norton, she attended and graduated from Norton High School in 1962. She married Richard Bent in 1965, and started her family a year later. They moved to Stow in 1973.

“Momma Bent,” (as most called her), had a personality of teasing and kidding that extended past Brown fans to include family, friends, and even strangers. She was full of spunk and laughter. She loved all her family and friends dearly, especially her grandchildren and her white Maltese, Lucy.
Preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Vernice Snyder; husband, Dick; brothers, Clair, Calvin, and Vernon Snyder, and sister, Maxine Swinehart. She is survived by her son, Rick (Sandy) Bent; daughter, Nancy Vaughn; grandchildren, Hillary, Scott, Brooke, Zach, and Brandon; nephew, Ray Swinehart (Jill); niece, Cheryl (Kurt) Lower; sisters-in-law, Donna Snyder and Joan Bent; special friend, Marge Guinn, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and her pet, Lucy.
