Sandra (Sandy) L. Cain (Nee Sweatt)

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Sandra L. Cain (nee Sweatt), 76, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023, surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Cain, and her parents, Henry and Dorothy Sweatt. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 48 years, David Cain; twin sister, Sally Dowling; sister, Millie Sweatt; brother, Henry (Penny) Sweatt; special friend, Vicki Wands, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Sandy worked for many years as an office manager for numerous doctors and pediatricians in the area. She and David enjoyed camping at McDermott’s Lakeside Campground and spending time with their campground friends on the pontoon boat and around the campfire. She also enjoyed her weekly lunches with friends and spending time with all her nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Melissa and Amy of Summa Hospice for their loving care of Sandy in her final weeks.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 6 - 8 PM, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 10:45 AM, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio 44273.
