STOW - Sarah R. Kress, 81, died January 29, 2011.
Born in Washington, PA she was a longtime area resident and member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Henry in 2001 and granddaughters Sarah and Katelyn Criblez, she is survived by daughters Susan (Bruce) Large of AL and Carolyn (Philip) Miller of TN; sons Joseph (Pamela) Kress of Stow and Robert Kress of Akron; daughter-in-law Karen Kress of Akron; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters Doris (Jesse) Metheny of WV and Betty (Donald) Barstow of MN; brother Donald Anderson of MN and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, WV. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow or Windsong Care Center, 120 Brookmont Road, Akron, 44333.
