Shirley Mae Jenkins

AURORA - Shirley Mae Jenkins, 98, passed away June 3, 2023.

Born in Leroy, she was a resident of Stow and Twinsburg. She was a current member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hudson and had previously been a long-time member of The Lutheran Church of the Master in Bedford. Shirley had been employed with Johnson & Johnson as an administrative assistant. Shirley enjoyed sewing and dancing in her younger years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jenkins; daughter, Carol Foster, and eight brothers and sisters, she is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Thaddeus) Evans; son, Michael (Libby) Jenkins; grandchildren, Cheryl, Jason, Erica, and Troy Evans, and Anna and Mary Jenkins; as well as five great-grandchildren. Shirley was a wonderful mother and grandmother and a kind, loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.

Pastor Eric Tritten will conduct service 11 AM, Friday, June 9, 2023, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 2113 Ravenna Street, Hudson 44236. Friends may call 5 - 7 PM, Thursday, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. Burial Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield.
