Shishir Budhisagar Kapadia

HUDSON - Shishir Budhisagar Kapadia, 76, passed from this life into his eternal home in heaven on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Shishir was born on September 20, 1945, in Mumbai, India. Shishir moved to Akron, Ohio, at the age of 21 to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at The University of Akron.

In 1973, Shishir married the love of his life, Darlene (Kaufman). Shishir is survived by his daughter, Nisha (Seth) and son, Nakul (Kelly). The lights of his life were his granddaughters, Ava, Selah, Sydney, Alyssa, and Kaitlyn. Shishir is also survived by his niece, Mamta, and nephew, Devang, as well as extended family and friends. Shishir was preceded in death by his parents, Budhisagar Kapadia and Indira Kapadia (Sheth); his wife, Darlene, and his sister, Vibhuti Suresh Shah.

Shishir was known for his love of photography and was a dedicated Cleveland sports fan. Shishir never missed a moment to take pictures of his family. Shishir enjoyed taking photographs from around the world to around the corner. Shishir enjoyed being with friends and family and could almost always be found drinking a chai tea latte.

Pastor Dan Gregory will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow. Visitation will be held from 4 PM until service time.
