Susan K. Depriest

Susan K DePriest, (nee Vigrass), departed this life to be with her husband, Clyde DePriest, on June 24, 2021.

Susan was born on February 14, 1956 to Robert and Ann (Smith) Vigrass, in Akron Ohio. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband, Clyde.

Susan was a 1974 graduate of Stow High School. She attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Akron, where she graduated with a B.S. in Dietetics and Nutrition. She worked as the WIC Coordinator for the Guernsey County Health Department for 24 years, retiring in 2014.

She married Clyde DePriest on May 22, 1999. He preceded her in death in September 2020.

She is survived by sister, Cathy (Donald) Wortkoetter; stepson, Zachary (Rachel) DePriest and their son, Oliver; aunt and uncle, Thomas and Mary Ann Smith; many cousins and special friends, Julie, Patty, and Tom.

She was a member of Word of His Grace Church in Stow for over 30 years and was involved in many church activities.

A memorial service for Susan will be held Friday, July 9th at 10 AM at Word of His Grace Church, 110 E. Steels Corners Road, Stow 44224.
