HUDSON - Early November 7, 2024, Susan Lipstreu, 71, of Hudson, Ohio, departed her earthly home for her heavenly destination.
After a courageous battle with heart failure, she passed peacefully into eternity surrounded by loved ones.
Sue was the beloved wife of William (Bill) H.; caring mother of Bill (and wife, Rosina), Rob (and wife, Lindsay), and Stephanie, as well as the proud grandmother of Jack, Ben, Brielle, Elijah, and Amelia. She is also survived by her cherished sisters, Mary and Judy. Sue is predeceased by her brother, George, and her parents, George and Mary Fuerst.
Sue was born in Cleveland, raised in Shaker Heights and Solon, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Denison University. Sue met Bill at Chagrin Falls Airport where she flew as a private pilot. Married in 1979, Sue recently celebrated 45 years of marriage with Bill. She worked in real estate as an escrow agent and paralegal before leaving to be a full-time mother and eventually partnered with Bill to run their business, Integrated Aircraft Systems.
An accomplished equestrian, Sue leaves behind her horse, Gilligan, her well-loved dogs, and many close friends. She was passionate about the Gospel message as a member of Parkside Church, where she loved to volunteer at Vacation Bible School, and where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 4 PM.
Thank you to those who prayed for Sue during her struggle in the hospital and for continuing to love and support the family through this difficult transition.
The family kindly suggests donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse, in lieu of flowers, in honor of Sue’s memory. Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 ~
