Suzana Djercan (Nee Korcok)

MUNROE FALLS - Suzana Djercan (nee Korcok), age 88, passed away on October 22, 2023.

She was born in Šid, Yugoslavia, on February 20, 1935, along with her twin sister, Marka, to the late Pavel and Erža (Hlpka) Korčok.

Suzana came to the United States with her husband, Andrija, and baby daughter, Zelka, in 1967. She proudly cleaned other peoples’ homes. She loved working in her garden, canning, and making soup noodles. She was a hardworking woman all her life, and had the arthritic hands to prove it. Suzana found her true happiness in Jesus Christ; she was a longtime member of the Apostolic Christian Church (West Akron).

Suzana was preceded in death by her husband, Andrija, in 2018; sisters, Era Farkaš, Ana Hrubik, twin sister, Marka Siracki, and Kata Malenkovic, and her brothers, Paul Korcok and Jano Korcok. She is survived by her baby brother, Andy (Mira) Korcok, in Australia.

Suzana leaves behind daughter, Zelka (Zlatko) Turan; granddaughters, Marica Turan and Christine (Steven) Fisher, and her beloved great-grandson, Gabriel Fisher. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, for visitation, Saturday, from 9 to 11 AM, followed by funeral service, Saturday, at 11 AM. Burial Maple Lawn Cemetery.
