Terrence (Terry) P. Carney

MACEDONIA - Terrence P. Carney, age 58, passed away on February 25, 2025. Terry is survived by his wife, Michelle; children, Kathleen (Gregory) Barnes, Shannon (Michael) Minetto and Sean P. (Sara) Carney; grandchildren, Alaina and Brendan Barnes, Dominic and Madeline Minetto and Ximena Carney, as well as his siblings, Mary Pat Gilboy, Barbara Carney, Erin Chizmar and William (Mary) Carney. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Therese Carney. Terry was a family man who loved nothing more than sitting on a patio on a warm sunny day and sharing a story with a good cigar. Always the comedian, he knew how to fill a room with laughter, and bring a smile to your face. A Marine Corps veteran, Terry had a deep love for his country, and felt immense pride for his son, Major Sean P. Carney, who followed in his footsteps. He will forever be missed, and his absence will be felt by many. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, 44224 for visitation on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, 44224. Military honors will take place immediately following the Mass.
