Theodore E. Dickey

"Together Again"

SILVER LAKE - Theodore E. Dickey, 90, passed away peacefully on his late wife’s birthday, August 21, 2023.

Born in Harborcreek, PA, he was a resident of Silver Lake since 1972. After receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kent State University and graduating from The Ohio State School of Pharmacy, Ted went on to help start and grow the Youngfellow Drugstore chain. He completed his 37-year career as a pharmacist in 1998 with the Fred W. Albrecht Grocery Company. Ted enjoyed working on his home and gardens, vacationing with family, and his Golden Retrievers.

Preceded in death by his wife, Janet Dickey, and sister, Sally Och, he is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Alice) Dickey and Kevin (Liesha) Dickey; grandchildren, Joshua (Erin) Dickey, Lindsey (Brigham) VanEtten, and Brandon Dickey, as well as great-grandchildren, Cooper and Quinn.

Burial Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls.
