Thomas Robert Whitfield

STOW - Mr. Thomas Robert Whitfield, died peacefully on May 20, 2023, at the age of 88.

Thomas was born on March 3, 1935, in Johnstown, PA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Charlotte Mary Whitfield, and also his parents, Thomas and Gladys Whitfield. Thomas worked for CEI in Cleveland, Ohio for 35 years as the Assistant Treasurer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was honored with Knight of the Year. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and also a member of Holy Family Parish in Stow.

Tom is survived by his children, Pam Grega, her husband, Tom; their children, Tony, Mary, Sarah, and Kathy Mangels, her husband, Dr. David; their children, Elizabeth, (husband, Cameron Downer and forthcoming great-grandson, Downer); Alison, (husband, Craig Vonderhaar), Jordan and Joshua, Connie Shields, her husband, Michael; their children, Lauren (husband, Mario Sciortino; great grandchildren, Mario, Jr., Grace, and Amari); Bo, (wife, Dr. Lauren); Janeen Dudte, her husband, Tom; their children, Megan (husband, Matt Briskey), Melany, (husband, Andrew Telfer), and Mandy, (husband, Daniel Trujillo), Tom Whitfield, (wife, Megan, and their children, Jacob, Andrew, Mya, and Carter.)

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3363 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224, for visitation Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM, and where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be conducted Wednesday 9:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, 44224, Father Andrew Gonzalez celebrant. PLEASE PARK BEHIND THE CHURCH AND THE SCHOOL .  Burial at Saint Martin of Tours Cemetery, 1800 Station Road, Valley City, OH 44280, immediately following the Mass.
