Timothy A. Kimmel

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Timothy A. Kimmel, 69, passed away on the morning of March 30, 2024.

Born in Dayton, on February 19, 1955, he was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for 23 years and had been employed with Leipold Tire in Stow prior to joining Federated Auto Parts. Tim enjoyed gardening, working many years on turning his back yard into a relaxing get-away spot with many flowers and bushes to captivate the eye. He had played bass in several music groups over the years, and recently spent time playing at the Blu Jazz club in Akron. He was a talented auto mechanic, and more recently, found interest in repairing small electronics. He took pride in his home, improving and repairing it over time to improve the quality of life for himself and his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Bevan and Helen (nee Herwick) Kimmel, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Michele; sons, Kenneth and Devin (Alina) Kimmel, and brothers, Andy (Sue), Dave (Sandy), and John (Amy) Kimmel.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, for visitation on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 4 - 7 PM, where service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Burial Silver Springs Cemetery.
