STOW- Tony Calco, 84, was reunited with his beloved Jeannette on November 2, 2010. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, he served his country in the Navy during WWII, was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Capt. Brady Post 3703 VFW and Acker-Moore Memorial Post 175 American Legion. He retired from the Stow Fire Dept. as a Captain in 1980 with 25 years of service.
He is survived by daughter Barbara Ann (James) Canavan, son James R. (Kymberlea) Calco, grandchildren, Lauren (Michael) Hammond, Cory James (Michelle) Canavan, Alana Calco and Leah Calco, great-grandchildren, Matthew James Canavan and Hayley Madison Hammond, sisters Mary Landi and Anna White.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday from 4 to 7 PM, where Pastor John Cervone will conduct service Saturday 10 AM. Interment Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stow Fire Department Emergency Equipment Fund, 3800 DarrowRoad, Stow, OH 44224. Mr. Calco's video tribute may be seen here.
