Vicki Jean Knight

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Vicki Jean Knight, 55, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2022, following a brief battle with neuroendocrine cancer.

Born in Akron, she was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for most of her life. Vicki had been employed in a wide variety of sales positions, most recently with Spectrum as a sales representative. She was a member of GateWay Worship Center in Akron. Vicki enjoyed many activities with her church, family, and friends, and they all deeply loved her. She cherished being a mother as well as a grandma and was looking forward to meeting her grandson-to-be.

Preceded in death by her father, Ray Hurt, she is survived by her mother, Odessia Hurt; children, Jacqueline Dame, Nicholas Dame, Autumn Knight, Courtney Knight, Rachael (Austyn Wilson) Knight; grandchild, Harley Wilson; grandchild on the way, Noah Wilson; sister, Diana (Mark) Loudermilk; niece, Celeste Kirby, as well as many extended family members; special family friends, Roger Reed, Nancy Lavery, Courtney Calhoun, Missy Cash, and her supportive church family.

We thank all the medical staff at Akron General Hospital and Hospice who cared for Vicki. We also thank all the friends who came alongside our family, offering their time, meals, and emotional support.

Pastor Kevin Truex will conduct service Tuesday 12 PM noon at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224. Friends may call 10 AM to service time on Tuesday.
