Walter H. Kohn

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Walter H. Kohn, 81, went home to be with the Lord January 16, 2023.

Born in Stettin, Germany in 1941, he was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for over 60 years. Walter had been employed with Prospect Mold Inc., (formerly Akromold), as a mold maker, retiring after 46 years. Walter enjoyed planting trees, caring for his garden, chopping wood, and making campfires. He served the Lord faithfully throughout his life, including ushering at church.

Preceded in death by parents, Konrad and Margarete Kohn, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gisela Kohn; daughters, Annemarie (Jonathan) Miller, Rosalie (Dave) Steely, Julie (Jonathan) Stuk; son Walter M. (Sierra Hampl) Kohn, and nine grandchildren. He was a faithful, hardworking, and loving husband, as well as a wonderful father and grandfather.

Pastor Cary Wadle will conduct a Celebration of Life Service, 11 AM, Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224. Friends may call 10 AM to service time at the funeral home. Burial Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville, OH.
