William (Bill) E. Estes

May 10, 1928 — February 19, 2023

STOW - William (Bill) E. Estes, 94, went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2023.

Born in Russellville, TN, on May 10, 1928, he moved to Stow in 1958, was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and had retired from General Motors, Lordstown, in 1992. Mr. Estes attended New Life Church, and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #175, Star Lodge #187 F & AM, (formerly Stow Lodge #768), and Valley of Akron, A.A.S.R. Bill served in the Masons in many roles including as Past Master, as District Deputy Grand Master, and with the District Education Officers.

Preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; parents, Ben and Ethel (nee Ballard) Estes; sister, Lucile Purdy, and brothers, Ben, Jr., and Robert, he is survived by his son, Ronald (Debbie); daughters, Christine Ryan and Donna (Karl) Hunsicker; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen and Donald (Mitch), and many nieces and nephews.

Private services and burial were held.
