William "Bill" D. Wynn

STOW - William "Bill” D. Wynn, 71,  passed away on December 22, 2023.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 5, 1952, he moved to Silver Lake in 1960. He graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School (’70) and the University of Akron. Bill worked in the construction industry at Moser Construction and was known for his devotion to his family and love for his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Margaret Wynn, and is survived by his wife, Joy (née Sonnhalter); daughters, Erin Wynn and Lauren (Timothy) Schmidt; grandchildren, Pernilla, Hans, and Zelda; siblings, Mary Ellen (Leonard) Sussman, Janet, Douglas, Barbara (Donald) Rauckhorst, and Christopher; niece, Emily Sussman, and nephews, Eric and Marc Rauckhorst.

There will be no visitation or calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Parish, 1761 Second Street, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221, on January 6, 2024, at 10 AM.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arbors of Stow and Gentiva Hospice for their care and concern for Bill.
