Born in E. Palestine, OH, she was an area resident since1936, had retired as a manager from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 27 years of serviceand was a member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Forrest and her son Dean,she is survived by her sister Peggy Cox and brother Robert Young, both ofWarren, OH; 2 grandchildren, Brett and Todd Slagle and daughter-in-law SusanSlagle.
Pastor John Phillips will conduct a service at the RedmonFuneral Home Thursday at 11 AM, where friends may call Thursday from 10 AMuntil service time. Interment CrownHill Cemetery. Should friends desire,memorials may be made to Goodyear Hts. Baptist Church, 1767 Goodyear Blvd.,Akron, OH 44305.
