Obituary of Carol Lauretta McMillan




STOW- Carol L. McMillan, 92, died March 26, 2021.

Born in Moorhead, MN, she was a longtime Stow resident and active member of The Community Church of Stow, where she served on Church Council and with Women's Fellowship. Carol was also a talented seamstress, and had won several Best of Show Awards for her knitting and cross stitching. A former Girl Scout leader, she had also been a member and past president of the Stow Women's Club and a member of the Friends of Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.

Preceded in death by her son Malcolm, she is survived by her husband of over 69 years, Robert; daughters Catherine (Ralph) Teti, Margaret (Mark) Thiese, Roberta (Michael) Danilowicz and Nancy (Ron) Hearrell; grandchildren, Steven (Chelsea) Danilowicz, , Carolyn (Mike) St. Laurent, Annie (Nick) Sohutskay, Brian (Suzanna) and Paul Thiese, Sean Hearrell, and sister Betsy Berg.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, April 9th from 4 to 7 PM. Pastor Jim Case will conduct a memorial service on Saturday, April 10th at 11 AM at The Community Church of Stow, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow 44224. Interment was held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the church.
