Darlene K. Walker

HUDSON - Darlene K. Walker, 65, passed away July 15, 2021.

Born in Lakewood, she was a resident of Hudson since 2013. Darlene was employed with the University of Akron in the student records department, retiring from full time in 2014 and continuing part time until June of this year. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Darlene enjoyed reading, watching tennis, watching the birds (cardinals and hummingbirds were her favorite) and traveling with her husband, especially to South Carolina and Niagara Falls.

She is survived by her parents, David and Barbara Gorsline; husband, Dale Walker; sons, Robert (Erin), Gregory, Michael (Emily) Walker; grandchildren, Sidney, Christopher, Jonathan, Nicholas; brother, David (Shirley) Gorsline.

Pastor Dan Page will conduct service 11 AM Wednesday at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow 44224, where friends may call 4 to 7 PM Tuesday. Burial Markillie/St. Mary Cemetery in Hudson.
