Logan B. (Bud) Adams, Jr.

MUNROE FALLS - On January 14, 2023, Logan B. Adams, Jr., (Bud), 88, was surrounded by his wife and family when he went home to our Lord.

Bud was born in Akron, raised in Cuyahoga Falls, and lived in Munroe Falls. He served in the United States Navy as an airframe and powerplant mechanic during the Korean War. After returning from the Navy, he met the love of his life, Florence. He succeeded his father in owning and operating L.B. Adams & Son Garage. After his retirement, he continued his love of fixing and repairing everything. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In his early years, Bud enjoyed camping and boating on Lake Erie. In later years, he continued to enjoy summers boating on Lake Berlin. He enjoyed flying and was an accomplished private pilot with over 4,000 hours. Bud was a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed both his Harley and dirt bikes.

Bud was the proud Founding Member and President of the Dr. Peter M. Bittenbender Fan Club. Our family thanks Dr. Bittenbender for his extraordinary care that gifted us many extra years. We would also like to thank Dr. Matthew Mivsek for taking such good care of Bud.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Logan and Mary, and his sister, Betty. He is survived by, and will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years, Florence; his children, Julianna (Jim) Wilson, Lisa (Tom) Testa, Kelly (Jim) Riter, and Logan (Lisa) Adams, III; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Todd) Kaduke, James (Vanessa) Wilson, Marie (Rich) Dietrich, Lyndsie (Scott) Walkuski, Alyssa Testa, Mario Testa, Jimmy (Lauren) Riter, Dr. Quinton (Brittany) Riter, Demi (Blake Greene) Riter, and Logan Adams, IV; his great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Daniel, Hunter, and Nolan, Paislee, and Londyn, Mason, and Baby Wilson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, Mass of the Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow 44224, Fr. Andrew Gonzalez celebrant. Family and friends will gather at the church at 9 AM to celebrate Bud's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Holy Family Catholic Church .
