STOW - Stephen T. Lajzer, 43, passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 2024.
He was a beloved father to Isaac, Pax, and Holt Lajzer; a treasured brother to Christopher Andrew (Elizabeth) Lajzer and Kevin Kerr; a son to Stephen and Kimberly Lajzer and Tami and Kenny Dewall; a nephew, cousin, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, former husband, (Heather), and a dear friend who was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Stephen came into this world in an extraordinary way, inside the Tallmadge Police Department, en route to the hospital. Ever since then, Stephen made his presence known with his smiles, love, and laughter. He never met a stranger and had a great time with everyone he could. His legacy can be seen in the loving, sensitive nature of his three boys.
He shared his years between the North Carolina mountains and Stow-Kent, Ohio. His experience of the North Carolina rugged outdoors and small-town Ohio life prepared him for his life. On a visit to both of his grandmas, he fell in love, moved to Stow, and completed the rest of his family.
His charismatic skills made him an exquisite salesman for Ascenso Tire North America, and he could debate with the best on any subject.
His youth was full of tee ball, Boy Scouts, and back packing; his teen years were running high school track, fast cars, and hanging out with his friends. His later years were enriched with bowling, golfing, watching sports and spending time with his family.
