Richard A Walters, 81, passed peacefully on December 18, 2021.
Born October 23, 1940 to Floyd and Edith (Hutchinson) Walters, he was a long-term resident of Stow. Richard was a master carpenter for over 50 years; was a member and a past master of Star Lodge #187 F & AM; loved his cars, especially NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Sr; was a member of Tri-County 4-Wheelers; and never met a stranger. He was the best dad, well-loved by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed by all. Richard enjoyed life to the fullest, loved playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and just hanging out with family.
Richard is survived by the love of his life, wife Beverly; his children, Sherrie (Christopher) Sweet, Laura (John) Burton, Richard (Kate) Walters and Jody (Mike) Williams; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Verlin (Charlotte) and Carl Walters and sister, Betty Bergeron; brother-in-law Richard Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
